Phillip Gaskin, CMT

I am a certified massage therapist and a recent graduate of MTIC. I am grateful for the opportunity to help facilitate health and wellbeing with all those I encounter. I have been practicing bodywork for nearly two years, and provide a relaxing, invigorating, and restorative massage experience.

As well as massage therapy, you'll also find me at the reception desk. Several years of front desk, and customer service, along with great communication, help in keeping Manton professional Massage clinic running smoothly.

Bruce Kenyon, LMT

At a young age I picked up a massage technique and occasionally when my sisters started to bug me, I would charge them a quarter for a couple minutes of massage. After I graduated from CU Boulder with a Studio Arts degree, I took four months to travel in Central and South America. While traveling, living, and working in various communities in Panama and Colombia, I enjoyed exchanging knowledge of those things that make life worth living.

On occasion I was able to share massage and yoga and after I got back I realized some things. I realized I want to keep traveling and that intentional bodywork is needed everywhere. But perhaps the most significant realization was that when I am able to aid in another person’s ability to be fully content in the present moment – I feel deep elation.

For as long as I can remember I have been developing my own energy clearing and recharging techniques that have centered on meditations with nature, art and music.  Human interaction as a meditation towards self-actualization was, for the most part, only an abstract concept.

Over the past year I have been humbled as the seemingly endless potential massage has to offer becomes more apparent to me. The skill and quality of humans I’ve been exchanging with has inspired me to dedicate this chapter of my life to the practice and study of massage.  Moreover, blending my unique perspectives on wellbeing with everything I’ve been picking up at MTIC, is a thrilling adventure I am looking forward to continuing.

Lori Schultz, LMT

Before I found massage therapy, I was a psychologist working in the schools and I first turned to massage to help me decompress and reduce my stress levels.  After receiving some skilled therapeutic massages, I was “hooked” and became determined to make mindful changes to improve my quality of life and health.   I attended Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado, graduating with honors in December of 2013.  At MTIC, I was taught several modalities including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point or neuromuscular therapy  and reflexotherapy.   But beyond the basic massage modalities I began to understand how one’s mind, body and spirit is connected to their overall wellness.

While a student at MTIC, I began working at Swedish and Craig Hospital first as an intern and then was  hired on as a professional  massage therapist.   I continue to work at Swedish hospital providing hand and foot massage to post- partum and oncology patients.   Currently, I am enrolled in advanced training at MTIC (Year 2) and am happily learning joint mobilization, myofascial treatments and integration of the body’s structures to improve posture, alleviate pain and improve circulation.  I have also completed additional training in oncology massage.   I know I have chosen a career that allows for continual learning – and I love that!   I am thrilled to join the Manton Professional  Clinic team.  This is a special place to come and receive therapeutic massage.  My techniques and modalities will differ depending on the needs of my client, varying from deep therapeutic work, joint mobilization to relaxing traditional massage.   As Lao Tzu once said, “A journey of a thousand miles begins with one small step.”   I look forward to working with you as you take a step towards wellness of your mind, body, and spirit.

The year two program focuses on more structural ideas that is allowing him to grow with love and appreciation for the body everyday.
